So… Is PivotED Your Kind of Weird
Choosing a school is kind of a big deal. You’re trusting someone else with your kid’s brain (and snacks) for a solid chunk of the week. So let’s figure this out: Is PivotED right for your family?
Here’s a helpful non-scientific checklist to find out.
✅ PivotED might be your jam if...
You like the idea of small class sizes where your kid isn’t just “the quiet one in the back” or “the one who talks during every transition.”
We cap our student count at 12. Yes, twelve. As in, the size of a large pizza. Your child will be known, seen, and—brace yourself—called on.You believe kids learn by doing, not just sitting.
If you think learning should involve real-world projects, collaboration, and the occasional glitter explosion, you’re in the right place. (Yes, we still do worksheets, but they don't run the show.)You are down with a Monday–Thursday school week.
Because education is important—but so is rest, family time, and catching up on laundry. You’re not looking for a test score factory.
We use personalized goal setting and progress monitoring. Standardized tests? Not really our vibe.Do you like the idea of a multi-grade classroom where kids learn from each other and grow at their own pace.
(And no, it doesn’t look like chaos. Okay, sometimes it looks like chaos—but it’s productive chaos.)
🚫 PivotED might not be your jam if...
You’re looking for desks in rows, timed bathroom breaks, and a strict no-talking policy during lunch.
You’re only here for letter grades and honor roll bumper stickers.
You want a traditional school experience—but smaller. (We’re not that.)
Final Verdict?
If you read this and thought, “Wait, this sounds kind of awesome…” we might be a great fit.
If you read this and thought, “Wow, these people sound slightly unhinged,” then hey—this might not be the school for you. And that’s totally okay. I'm even giving my own kids the choice of public or PivotED. Because if it goes wrong, I want them to blame themselves, not me.
But if you’re curious, have questions, or just want to hear more of our unhinged ideas, email us at pivoted25@gmail.com or visit pivoteducation.net.
We're here, ready to overshare with enthusiasm.
Thanks for being here.
Thanks for thinking differently.
And hey—keep being AWESOME.
